The Vision of High Performance Coaching in New Zealand
The vision was always about a community of professional excellence in coaching, capable of enabling sustainable success for Kiwi athletes. One of the things we did achieve before I left New Zealand was the fact that we would have a professional body for high performance coaching in New Zealand. We've got an incredible number of courses where coaching science is studied and who ultimately owns it creates the shop window into making it attractive and sustainable. The fact that a professional body is now about to emerge in the context as a key part and a key player inside the system, I think is a very, very good thing forHigh Performance Coaches NZ.
