The Speaker of the House Decides Which Committee Gets the Bill
90 per cent of proposed bills die in committee. Committee chairs have enormous amounts of power. If i'm cheering a committee and i don't like a bill,. i just ignore it, and it's dead. There's nothing any one can do about it. I just don't report the commitnd the bill out. The committee cheer then gets that bill. And about ninepercent time, thy just ignore it. They just pay no attention to what they throwIt out. They ye, they turn to kindling, whatever. So it cas o committee. Usually about two to four % of proposed bills become laws. But usually about 2-4% of them are passed into law.
