Dr Franz de Wall is a Dutch American biologist and primatologist. He's probably best known for his work on the behaviour and social intelligence of primates. His first book, chimpanzee politics, 1982, compared the smoothing and scheming of chimpanzees involved in power struggles with that of human politicians. The Age of Empathy, 2009, The Benobo and The Atheist, 2013. What apes can teach us about gender. It is definitely a book that we should all get and read, especially with what is going on in the world today regarding gender. There is a story for everyone here because every story matters.
