Type 2 Diabetes - Weight Training and Diabetes Care

The Hunt Study is a huge observational trial of over 53,000 individuals. Performing weight training in aerobic activity before and after the diagnosis was associated with lower mortality. The Department of Health guidelines say very clearly we should aim for 150 to 300 minutes per week of moderate level aerobic activity or at least twice a week add in resistance exercises.
