Hank Williams was the most influential country singer of the 30s. His first big hit, Move It On Over, in 1947 is a fun example of Hilbilly Boogie. He made gospel records, heartbreaking ballads and up tempo dance music. And like Jimmy Rogers, Hank Williams' appeal first racial boundaries.
