UI, UI Is the Most Fundamental of All Computer Graphics Experiences

The emergence of the web around 94, distracted on mass, the entire CS world to the extent that I watched grad school get kind of hollowed out as everyone went off to start a web based startup and so forth. But more importantly and more deleteriously, that mass diversion meant that people were no longer developing new UIs. So I think we're sort of 35 years in an ubleet in a pit and I'm hoping to stack up some little pebbles to help climb our way out.
