Harden's Tactical Tricks

Harden, maybe more than any player in NBA history, has squeezed more value out of little tactical tricks. He would hop left, hop right in the paint to try to create a little space and finish because he wasn't a vertical athlete. But then on the next possession, you'd come down the court and instead of those power decelerated strides, he would take like this sort of off rhythm really long two step. And that's when I think we get to this peak MVP level 2017, 2018,. where he's blending two really basic dimensions, maybe better than anyone ever.
