McCauley's Father Was a Bad Dude and He Was Just a Bad Dude
Kieran Colcan, now famous for his role in succession, Max Brother, plays Fuller in Home Alone famously. McCauley said that the physical and mental abuse at the hands of his dad began early on and continued to get worse as his acting career took off. He told Mark Merrin that they travel for auditions and he'd say, I'm going around the country locked in a room with a man who didn't like me.
