The Importance of Research in Cancer Treatment

I learned a lot over the years about being in like an educated and empowered patient someone who does their own research and researches things. I did do one round of chemo pills five pills over five days to help by some time because it was taking us weeks to figure out what to do you know long term major step so um I had started with some supplements and diet a little bit diet changes leading up to that but wasn't totally sold on the idea of having too much at home. And then when I started radiation to help with the side effects and hopefully prevent the recurrence, I actually did see an integrative oncologist and he helped me incorporate those things as well.
