The Stoicism of Groundhog Day

Stoicism is a collaboration between academics and psychotherapists founded in 2012. They offer free online courses based on ideas and practices drawn from the ancient philosophy of stoicism. In fact, I especially recommend reading an article on that website about stoicism and the film Groundhog Day. This is the article which actually inspired us to do this episode. My mum read it and then shared it with me. And apparently they both sat in front of the telly and watched it on DVD and really enjoyed it. That's how we ended up kind of choosing to talk about this because we thought it could be interesting.
