The Rise and Fall of John Knox
After Mary began her persecution of the Protestants after Edward VI died in the 1550s, Knox like so many other Protestants fled England. He served as a pastor for about six or seven months before he was forced to go back to Geneva. John Knox wanted to keep it as closely to the Geneva liturgy as possible. Richard Cox didn't want that and there's this little worship war playing out within the life of this little congregation.
