The all in ones fill a niche in the marketplace. Because it is not a high production part of the market and is considered to be a specialty item, the prices are ridiculous. The alternative that I've recommended is that you have a monitor and a mouse and if you want a keyboard and you just hook it into your laptop. Or if you happen to use Samsung phones, a Samsung phone can power basically a computer for you.
