You can't get into arguments about what the threshold of evidence should be in a capital punishment case while a trial is still ongoing. The process of discovery at the ground level is just very, very hard. And I think that this is what our politics could so desperately need is more people just saying, hey, look, I am not trying to fit this or that narrative to this new event."
