They were confident they knew how people buy consumer electronics but didn't know Napster had started two years before their purchase. Five years later, when Musikland went bankrupt, Best Buy lost $1 billion in sales. Mark Twain said it's not what you don't know that gets in the trouble, it's what you know for sure that ain't so.
