The Ten Thousand Year Mechanical Clock

The idea of myth building in our modern age is a bit of an odd one, and i don't think ouknow, very few people are consciously going about it. In order to build a myth, i think it's required that we do build a mechanism. The ten thousand year clock was chosen as the amount of time that modern culture has around. And cities have started about eight thousand years ago in agriculture, right before that. So this is our kind of ourmodern now, and this is how far we should be looking forward if this is howfar we can look back in our technology and society.
