The Big Dog Always Favors Innovation
If there is, you know, one rule which should animate our competition policy, it should be, favor innovation. Now, of course, we need to operationalize what that means, but that should be the big dog always. Anti trust law is quite flexible, and there is a recognition in the law that firms with superior foresight and acumen do better. That's ok under the law. It's actually anti trust economics, that is, in my view, a, are causing enforcement agencies to focus too much on the here and now. And i don't think the problem, by the wayis anti trust law.
