Why Science Doesn't Produce Explanation
Physicists are driven to have a conception of reality on which it's explicable. Richard Feynman did make noises along those lines for famous 20th century physicists. Most scientists, in my experience, they are, you know, scientific realists. They think that the things that we're probing are really out there.
