Antiretroviral Drug Prep
prep is pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is it's when zero negative people are taking retrovirals to prevent infection with HIV. Dozens of clinical trials and cohort studies have shown that the use of these oral antiretrovirals can reduce risk of infection by around 90%. That's more effective than condom use. Condoms are about 85% effective when used correctly. The most vulnerable sections of our populations aren't covered under Medicaid or Medicare or any other government insurance policy.
