The Bronco was a slick boxy thing with tinted windows and had been pretty well taken care of by whoever had owned it. The salesman said to take it for a drive so I did across 12th and down past the high school where everybody was getting out on the sidewalks. There were a few Indian kids among them and as we drove past I could tell the June was really watching. Once you hold some vision of America together tending their lawns probably thinking was strange anxiety about that first ride on the mower.
