Is There a Difference Between C-Sections and General Anesthesia?
Ruth Landau from Columbia, along with the lead author, Kim, described a 0.2% rate for general aesthetics for scissoring delivery. But she also reported a 23.5% overall a juven rate. And then for my hospital, our general anesthesia rate for C-sections was 13.7%. I believe that a lot of these C-sections are general anesthesia were either they were already intubated because they had COVID or there were urgent indications related to COVID.
