Amo's Life Story

Amo was born in the Gold Coast, which later became Ghana. He studied philosophy and law at university before returning to his native land. Amo's works show him to be a paradigmatic early 18th century thinker. His life story takes an unexpected turn when he returns to Africa as a prophet.
