Atheist Graham Clark says it's difficult to determine what is necessary and what is contingent. He argues that the universe could not exist without some kind of transcendent being or cause. But God isn't limited in these various respects, so why should he be? Clarke: Theists might try to come up with a symmetry breaker but I don't think they'll succeed.
