Is Induction a Thing Observing?

induction is not a thing merely observing stuff. Observing is just there as a test of the theory guessed. It doesn't mean there's aliens flying from another galaxy here to earth. And ow let we need observations to rule that out. Possibly we need alternatives. We have a whole bunch of native hypothesis about what that thing could have been in the sky. Then you need ways of ruling out all the other things, like human made aircraft, venus, shooting star, or meteor,. any number of things. But absent anything else, why we're jumping to that one, i don't know.
