Do You Think the Bankruptcy Court Should Pardon You?

CNN's Jake Tapper asked whether he thinks President Obama should be pardoned for his role in the leak of classified documents. He said courts have a very limited jurisdiction and often just say, we got this all lined up for you. The pardon works by implicitly accepting your guilt but then the courts are prohibited from charging you or carrying out any sentence against you that is related to the crime for which you were pardoned.
