Is Data Engineering a Thing in Five to 10 Years?

I felt like reverse ETL was definitely more of a marketing buzzword than an immutable thing. So, yeah, integration could touch a lot of different areas. I'm sure the bigger question I suppose is whether data engineering is going to be a thing in five to 10 years. That's how it is. Things change.
