The Importance of Listening
Sarah: I think there are a couple of things to it. One is the very like deep realization that the problems we deal with are older than the internet. We were not issued new brains with a Wi-Fi password. Like we all still have these same brains. It doesn't mean they can't evolve over time, but it's not all new. And I find UX in general has a huge recency bias. You come into every single project you're on and you have to do all of your research from scratch. That appreciation for the history, I think, is the biggest thing.
