Turkey and russia just announced a new trade agreement where they're looking for 100 billion dollars us. Dollars, and yearly trade turnover. turkey wants to buy the russian s 400 missile defense system. And the us. Threatend sanctions on turkey because the s 400 system also has an intelligence component. This is an example of this kind of growing multiplarity. It does weak the imperialist world system. To the extent that there is a socialist pole, that's progressive. I sometimes wonder how long it's going to be able to remain in nato.
