The Unrest in the Sahel Region

The Sahel is an enormous area of Sub-Saharan Africa. It straddles around a dozen countries from Eritrea to Senegal, Va'anizhe. Centuries or trade routes once associated with nefarious activities have become conduits for newer types of criminal communists. And so, criminal groups and increasingly terrorist ones use it to set up the bases and to attack southern countries within the region.
