The Struggle of Life Has Yet to Begin

As children we are generally happy. Psychologists call children pre-nerotic which I love. Unless we grow up in abuse or in and out of the foster care system or in a very bad family situation most kids feel safe, secure and at home. Once you hit puberty like that's not true of a 15 year old. They want to get away from mom and dad. They don't want to hide behind the skirt anymore. It's crucial that we have a vision for what life is all about. If we're well loved at a young age we basically enter adulthood with the sense that we're good.
