Splitting the Bill at the End of a Date

I feel like dude, guys should normalize this. They'll be like, they should. I'm going on a date, make sure I don't get abducted. Right. Anything could happen. Yeah. All right. Do you have thoughts on splitting the bill at the end of a date? I asked because I've heard many, many different takes about this from other women. And then I've also seen that guys take of like, they don't like when women offer to split the bill because they have heard that it means that the date wasn't good or something like that.
