Aryan, a-R-Y-A

The term Aryan is a Western construct. It's not an Indian term. The actual term is Arya, A-R-Y-A, Arya. That's the term that was used in the Indo-Arianian world. If it is to be used as a self designation, it can only be used by the people of Indian origin or Persian origin. And the Persian people were also descendants of Indians, of ancient Indians and considered themselves to be Arya.
