Introduction

Dr. Jason D'Roshi is the speaker for this year's Griffith Thomas Memorial Lectures at Dallas Theological Seminary. In 1921, an Anglican scholar and professor of Old Testament exegesis met with Dr. Louis Speryche to pray about creating a new seminary. WH Griffith Thomas died that same year, but this lectureship is a memorial to his commitment to the ideals ofDFS. Overwhelming theme for these three lectures is rejoicing in hope, understanding and applying Zephaniah.
