The Importance of a Strong Amendment to Native Title Reform

First Nations people want self determination. We have governance models that have worked, you know, when I talk to people in the Northern Territory,. Those self governance models were in and they were working against a bunch of things. So we really want a place for First Nations people to have some say within our parliament. It's just a legislation chain. You don't even have to go to a referendum state and territory and federal. But it wouldn't mean people getting two votes. People could choose to Aboriginal people could choose to vote for their selected seats rather than someone who was representing their electorate. That is really important stuff. And so I think it should be in there and I think people should not
