Introduction
The Senate passes the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act that is the military spending bill for the next year. It passed in a vote of 83 to 11, and it's already been approved by the House. This now sends it to President Biden's desk for his signature. The true military spending numbers are well over a trillion when you factor in intelligence agencies and things like that.
