An accent is a big thing when it comes to acting in the US. In my high tech career It's hard to say that I felt discriminated but you There were comments of like, oh no, we only want Americans to be in sales because of culture differences or stuff like that and So they they frame it in a way that makes you feel a little confused about why that is. The cultural differences obviously has to do with how you sound and how you respond and all of that.
