Tolerance Is a Wasteland
In 2007 Los Angeles's Museum of Tolerance announced it would commission the architect Frank Gary globally recognize architect to build a museum of tolerance in Jerusalem. The parking lot was built partly on the ruins of a Muslim cemetery and so what happened was the Museum began excavating a cemetery in Muslim cemetery in order to build a shrine to what it called Tolerance. Macti: It's kind of like you're excavating the bodies of one group in order tobuild a shrine to proclaim the not just the wonderfulness but the tolerance specifically of another group of people? I think there's a lot of resistance that goes without saying in the Jewish community, he says.
