The Importance of Clinical Data in Biometric Dentistry
Biomimetic dentistry is a great starting point to design a clinical study, but it's not a clinical study. I think that this is also kind of indirectly a critique of biometric dentistry as a concept. It relies almost exclusively on extrapolating lab data to clinical situations and there are almost no clinical trials. And before we change our whole way of practicing, we've got to have much better quality evidence.
