Is It Harder to Be in AI?

I have noticed reification mistakes in myself where, for example, if I'm on a diet, what I actually care about is losing the weight. But it starts to feel like what I care about is making the number on the scale go down. And so those are obviously very closely linked, but they're not exactly linked. Those don't even sound like reification mistakes to me.Those sound like just, like you weren't paying close enough attention or thinking carefully enough about what you wanted to optimize for. So I think that... And I can see myself doing it, but it... Right.
