The Challenges of Raising VC Dollars

I wanted to go a little bit back to clarify a couple of things at what point then you mentioned it was very difficult to raise VC dollars. Once you began getting some of these, these contracts and leads with utilities and more more business organically, did you then go out and raise again? Like what did that look like and what was different that time? Was it just about the proof points? Because I'm assuming there's other people building businesses as well.
