Is There a Language of Thought?

The most famous idea in this area comes from jerry photer, the idea that there is a language of thought. What phoder essentially argued is that on some level, the brain must function like a comp r and in a specific way. This has been a problem in the philosophical literature for getting on half a century now. And what i and collaborator, stephen franklin, whos the lead authoronor on our new paper, have shown is that we've provided some, i think, pretty compelling evidence that the brain does indeed function like a computer at a high level.
