I think it's become easier in a sense only in the way that the internet is so prevalent in job postings, these sites and the industry on a whole. I would advise young artists when you get on to a job, you know, take note of sort of who's in charge or who your contacts are. It never hurts to just reach out to someone and say, hey, I really enjoyed working with you. Don't know if you have any other future opportunities.
