Do You Know Hebrew Slash Greek?

You need a literal translation of the Bible if you don't know the biblical languages. The bad example, I think, would be when they throw a stick into the water to sweeten the water to say, well, the wood is obviously the cross. What I want to do is tie it to the larger typological structures within scripture itself. And that is not take this passage and do some sort of cannon ball shot over to Jesus. We want to tie things into the larger patterns that are developing throughout the Bible.
