There seems to be a kinship between Arabella and Mikayla as not only women who have experienced this very awful kind of violation, but also women who are trying to work through that violation. And in our interview, it was so funny Mikayla often described the act of writing and then producing and then filming the show as a kind of labor. When viewers finally finish, I may destroy you, there's this feeling of a kind of like unending closure. That is just the perfect manifestation of the thesis of the show, which is to say that like this never ends.
