Brigham Young was born into abject poverty, amassed a fortune of more than 15 million dollars before his death. He married 56 times and had 57 children by 16 women. Brigham Young led 60,000 people across the continental United States on foot and in wagons. The second prophet or leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is known as the Mormon Church.
