Metallica in Los Angeles
Metallica in LA was they weren't quite fitting in because they were just too heavy some of the like the troubadour I remember is would not book them anymore. They didn't have a big following it kind of came a little bit later when they would play with armored Saints and those two bands had a pretty good following. The first time I went to San Francisco the kids went nuts and this was right after the demo came out so there was a couple hundred kids there who knew who Metallica was and were ready for it.
