The Power of Self-Compassion

Whether or not you believe you're deserving of joy is part of what we mean by self-compassion. The phrase may I is interesting because it is both an aspiration and a hope. May I is also about permission. It's a way of saying it's okay to want this. You do deserve it. And then we also have this practice where we say that for ourselves may I know joy.
