The Importance of Political Parties
I don't know what the clear answer is when we ask hard questions like, should there be monuments and statues of civil war heroes from the south out in public spaces. I get why people might be made very uncomfortable by that even I'm a little uncomfortable when I think about that sort of thing. Now, this is a private organization and they can name their award any way they see fit. And I don't really begrudge them that right. But I think this sort of behavior, as we see it popping up everywhere over and over and over again, might in the end be very counterproductive to the sorts of things these people are trying to achieve in the first place.
