The motivation for virtue is going to snap at certain points. The strength to do good may fail under the burden of what seems to be pointless evil in the world. Even when someone has certain real, noble, natural moral virtue, it is imperfect goodness. No one lives a purely natural life with no invitation to the supernatural.
