Are Clinical Indicators Permissible Means of Making Allocation Decisions?

SoFA is one of those criteria I heard about another listening to a podcast last week called Apache 2. If someone is in really really bad shape if they're suffering a multi-system organ failure then they're probably not a good candidate for treatment.
