Ear Popper - What Is Ear Equalization?

i was born with a cleft palate. My problem had been struggling to eat, equalize the pressure in my ears. And i bought a device which is called the ear popper. It works by pulling your eustacian tubes open and forcing them to keep equalizing. You can actually hear it in the pocas coming up.
